40:3 A voice of one calling: In the desert prepare the way for the Lord; make straight in the wilderness a highway for our God.
41:18,19The poor and needy search for water, but there is none; their tongues are parched with thirst. But I the Lord will answer them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.
